In August I could drive a little bit with my car. It was the first time since 2 years and also the first time sitting in the cabin. There is not too much space left for my knees but I can shift gears and brake, so what do I need more …
I made sketches from various holders like this one for the rear light and the cat's eye (reflector) and used then 2 mm sheet metal to make it.
As soon as everything fits, all my holders will be powder coated.
It is looking perfect.
A small adapter was necessary for the rear plate holder.
The front license plate is mounted under the bumper.
I have moved the plate a little bit backwards that the bumper still is in the foreground.
My mirror is 90% self-made and I will show more details later. These are the two self made hinge pins and other parts which are welded.
That was the idea … I wanted to make something special and I have welded a short spring between.
The mounted mirror doesn't look bad, but …
It should protect my hinge from any damage like done on the picture, but the spring is too weak and the mirror too heavy. Actually you just have to shake the car a little bit and both mirrors are moving up and down. That means I have to make a new version, this time without a spring.
The trafficator will be held with this 2 mm sheet metal.
Here you see the trafficator in action. It is a Swiss brand from Scintilla and of course I will finally mount a restored version …
The entire control panel for indicator lights and the turn signal will be mounted in this case and fixed under the dashboard.

Besides I'm drawing the electrical scheme for all the wiring. The needed material like cables, connectors, etc. I've already bought.
