Ford Model A Pickup Restoration - Mitral valve surgery (February 2008)

Hello everybody, I'm back again! On the 3/12/08 I had a heart surgery in Zurich because one of my heart valves, the mitral valve was in a very bad condition. The mitral valve did leak approximately 50% but they could rebuild it and I didn't get an artificial valve. So far everything went good and I'm positive to work in my garage again in mid of April :-)))

Restoration February 2008

My surgery was a minimally invasive type and as you see on the picture I have only a 2" cut above the chest (1). The blue line shows the way how the surgeon went through to the heart.

In the meantime I will do lot of sports because I need power for continuing my restoration project.
