At the end of January, my Ford Model A looks a little bit more like a car …

Before I can mount the tank and cabin, the fenders and side panels must be installed.

Between the sheet metal, fender welt is installed. I have it previously drilled and the cuts are necessary because it will be bent later.

The left side is finished, now comes the other side.

The tank is not directly placed on the sheet metal. Between comes such a rubber pad.

The hardwood is the original one and is only restored. The screw which holds the tank on the frame goes through that wood.

I also wanted to move the cabin closer to the tank, but that was a little more difficult than I thought. The main problem is that the steering wheel can not be removed and my brother had to help me to lift the cabin so far that the dashboard went over the steering wheel. Uff… it was a hard job but everything is at the right position. I'll later do some modification that the rod in the steering wheel will become a two-piece item which can be removed easily.
