Ford Model A Pickup Restoration - Sandblasting and powder coating fittings (November 2016)The next step is painting all parts.
All steel parts for the wooden board are ready.
After sandblasting, the rust has gone and everything is ready for painting.
To make it more resistant, I have installed my powder coating equipment, because I want to powder coat all parts.
First I'm starting with the bigger parts.
The heads of the lock screws should also get a black color. To do this, I wrap the wire around the thread and give an additional protection with aluminum foil.
After the heating process I just have to screw out the screws.
For the nuts, I bend the wire in a zigzag shape where I just have to hang in the nuts.
Now everything is ready for the assembly.
Since I will not make any tour this year, I put the Ford on three-legged supports to protect the tires.
